Another great walk this week taking in a Ski Center,2 Tantalizing Close Quarries ,The Strawberry Line Railway Path to Winscombe  Station and on to a tunnel,Woods a plenty and to finish a Iron Age Fort With Some Stunning Views to Bristol Channel And Wales. 
Highlights would be the great views and  Dolebury Iron Aged Fort.

78. Keevil to Kennet & Avon Canal , Return(10.8 miles)

A really nice walk this with no real highlights but very easy going. a mixture of fields and flat canal .
starting at Keevil  in the heart of Wiltshire a brief glimps of the former World War Two airfield still used occasionally for training by the Royal Air Force and the United States Air Force. when we passed a  Boeing AH-64 Apache contantly flew landed then took off,noisy ! after leaving keevil headed towards Bulkington ,Poulshot then to Canal for dinner we stopped at 7 miles just under @ Swing bridge.
carry on along canal to 

Seend Park Farm cross bridge and on up to Great Hinton and Keevil to end

Wildlife- Redwing,Bullfinch  M/F,Heron,Buzzard,Canada Geese.
